Angela Gagliardi, M.D., FAAP

Dr. Angela Gagliardi is board certified in Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics . She is one of the 120 physicians in the country that is board certified in Sports Medicine, and a fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine.
After receiving her bachelor of science in Exercise Physiology, she received her medical degree at the University of Connecticut Medical School. She completed her residency at Westchester Medical Center and Fellowship in Sports Medicine at the University of Texas, San Antonio.
Dr. Gagliardi has extensive experience in Pediatric Sports Medicine and served as Chief of Pediatric Sports Medicine at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital, Westchester Medical Center in N.Y.
She has special interest in Newborns, Pediatrics Preventative care and Adolescent medicine. She is a specialist in Pediatric and Adult Sports Medicine with special interest in Concussion management, fitness evaluation and preventative programs to avoid sports injury.
She has experience in teaching medical students and residents and served as Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at New York Medical College.
She has Numerous Publications and is a frequent presenter at National meetings regarding Sports Medicine.
She has also served a physician for the Olympic Team and New York Marathon.
Dr. Gagliardi is Fluent in English and also speaks Spanish.
