Zacharia Reda, M.D., FAAP, FCCP

Dr. Zacharia Reda is board-certified in pediatric medicine, pediatric critical care. And has been in practice for over 17 years treating thousand of children in primary pediatric care, pulmonary, critical and intensive care.
He served his pediatric internship and residency at Albert Einstein School of Medicine in New York, and at LAC/USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, respectively. Additionally, he completed a pediatric critical care fellowship at UCLA.
He served as Assistant Medical Director of Long Beach Memorial Hospital's Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and St. Vincent PICU. Dr. Reda has served as the Medical Director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital for the last 11 years.
Dr. Reda serves on the faculty at HOAG Hospital, Children Hospital of Orange County (CHOC), and Millers' Children Hospital.
Dr. Reda is a clinical associate professor of pediatric at UCI. He has taught
residents and fellows at both UCI and UCLA for many years. He frequently
participates in national and international medical society functions to present
his research findings. Dr. Reda has specialized in primary pediatrics, newborn,
children and adolescent medicine. He is also specialized in pediatric pulmonary,
critical care, and emergency medicine. He treats asthma, chronic cough,
and premature babies. He has performed over 600 cases of flexible bronchoscopy
to help diagnosed and treated infants and children with lung diseases.
Dr.
Reda has received numerous awards in research and from his peers in the Orange
County Medical Association (OCMA).
He was chosen as one of the top doctors
in his field by OMCA in 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008.
Dr. Reda is a fellow of the following academies:

- American College of Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology (ACAAI)
